PACQUIAO-MAYWEATHER SUPER-FIGHT ALMOST OFFICIAL

That's right folks.

Boxing's most anticipated super fight -- Manny Pacquiao (35-3-2) vs. Floyd Mayweather (40-0) -- is almost official.

ESPN.com reported Tuesday morning that Mayweather agreed to terms to fight Pacquiao on March 13, but that the fight could be moved to May 1. Mayweather doesn't have a preference.
Though Pacquiao has not agreed to the terms of the fight yet, it's commonly known that it wasn't Pacquiao that would give any trouble about having the fight happen.

Well, where are they going to fight? The MGM Grand seems logical enough...but not so quick.

It's reported that Jerry Jones wants the fight in the new Cowboys stadium! Really? Could you imagine? Does the big screen count as 1000 pay-per-views? Well, apparently Jerry wants to take after George Steinbrenner by opening an amazing new stadium and winning a title in its first year -- even if it's not a Super Bowl title or him winning it.

The Superdome has also been mentioned as a possible location, but let's not get carried away here...

Many are claiming that this match is going to "save" boxing. I'm not so sure that boxing is in need of any "saving".

Boxing has its fans, and though the sport has lost many of those fans over the years to pro football, basketball, and baseball, boxing's main fans cannot be considered anything less than loyal.

With that noted -- Will this fight break PPV records? You betcha! No brainer! I'll be one of them.
