Peyton Manning should be named MVP

This whole week, the media has been trying to figure out what the Colts were going to do with their starters.

Is Manning going to play? If he does play, how long will it be for? Quarter? Halftime? I mean it was getting ridiculous.I know some of the players were saying they did not care if they went undefeated or not. To me, that's hard to believe because you "play to win the game."

Why would you want to lose on purpose or rest your starters this early? I mean there's still 3 weeks left in the season. The starters can't just rest for all three weeks.

So finally, tonight after the game, all the media's question's should have been answered. Peyton Manning played the whole game and got his team to 14-0.

What a surprise right? NO. Not at all! Come on! Manning is a competitor and he wanted to play in this game and keep the streak alive. He knew that if he played they could keep rolling.

It was like the Super Bowl for the Jags -- they had their first sell out crowd of the season, and if they won they would have a great shot to make the playoffs.

With this loss, it really puts them out of the playoffs in my eyes. They are on the road next week vs the Pats. So I knew Jags would fight and give a good game, but when it's all said and done, no defense can stop Manning. That's why to me Peyton Manning is your MVP this year and I don't think it's a contest.

I mean yes, Brees, Favre, and Chris Johnson have been outstanding this year as well.

However, Peyton Manning has done the most for his team this year.

The Colt's are 30th in rushing, they have a lot of key injuries on their team, and their defense is not all that great.

The defense can rush the QB -- great -- and that's all they can really do.

Other than that, they really can't stop the run and they can't stop the pass. Therefore, they should have lost some games this season with all these problems, agreed? I totally agree, but they haven't. They remain undefeated through all of these problems.

It all should be looked upon Peyton Manning, and it's not a surprise he is the best quarterback in the league, and has been for the last decade.

So Manning is truly outstanding and I think it's amazing what he, and this Colts team, have done with all of these injuries, and no rush offense. How could a team like that go 14-0?

I'm telling you though, if a team can stop Manning in the playoffs, than that team is my automatic Super Bowl team.

8 teams have tried and 8 teams have failed. These undefeated teams can be beat, trust me. The only way they can do it is if you slow down Manning, your 2009-10 NFL MVP, and Brees, your Co. MVP.

If not then we will be seeing history this year in the Superbowl. Two undefeated teams going head to head for the Ship!
