The Orange are Red in the Face

It happened. Syracuse somehow managed to lose to a D-II school: Le Moyne.


ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! How does that HAPPEN? 


I haven't seen the game yet, but I probably won't want to. It'll make me sick to know that a perennial basketball power lost to this school. This isn't Michigan losing to Appalachian State. This is Michigan losing to the Grand Valley State Lakers (D-II powerhouse). 


Is this the same Syracuse team that went 6-overtimes with UConn last year?


Well no. Johnny Flynn is a pro now, but still.


Ridiculous. Embarrassing. 

Or is it? It wasn't that long ago that this happened to two major Big Ten programs: Ohio State and Michigan State. Well Ohio State played in the National Championship game months prior and Michigan State played in the same game two seasons later. 


Hell, maybe it's good luck for the Orangemen! I already have half my bracket done!



But for today, I feel bad for poor Jim Boeheim. I know he was wishing he could've gone out onto the court and taken a couple shots.
