#14 Georgia Tech at #20 Miami
J: (#14 Georgia Tech over #20Miami) This is a tough choice. It’s at Miami, but I think Miami’s overrated. I also say Georgia Tech is overrated, but not as much as Miami is. I say Georgia Tech wins it in a relatively low scoring game. They’ll keep it under 30 combined points.
E: (#20 Miami over #14 G-Tech) This game could go either way, but in the end, the home team will have the advantage. Watch both QB's play. They are great, especially Nesbitt for G-Tech.

#10 Boise State at Fresno State
J: (#10 Boise State over Fresno State) This is definitely going to be a tough game for Boise, though I can’t say it’ll be their first big test (they took care of Oregon already). Fresno almost beat Wisconsin, at Wisconsin, and might use that game as motivation to beat Boise, especially because they’re home. Unfortunately for Fresno State, I think Boise is much more talented and should win this game. It won’t be a blow out, but it won’t be close either.
E: (Fresno State over #10 Boise State) I like Fresno in an upset. Boise St. is great, don't get me wrong, but I'm not so sure about them on the road.

Tennessee at #1 Florida
J: (#1 Florida over Tennessee) With the way Tennessee played in week 1, I thought they definitely would have a shot at beating the Gators. Unfortunately for the Volunteers, Crompton isn’t your ideal west coast offense QB, and Kiffin, my boy, has said just too much about Florida during the offseason. Florida will smash.
E: (#1 Florida over Tennesee) Tebow will be too much for the Volunteers to handle.
Texas Tech at #2 Texas
E: (#1 Florida over Tennesee) Tebow will be too much for the Volunteers to handle.
Texas Tech at #2 Texas
J: (#2 Texas over Texas Tech) Remember last year? The last second catch to spoil another Colt McCoy comeback? Will Texas be able to gain revenge? Yes. Easily.
E: (#2 Texas over Texas Tech) People are making this game a big deal. It really is not that big this year because Texas Tech is not that good.
#3 USC at Washington
J: (#3 USC over Washington) This might be the most intriguing game of the top 5 or top 10. Washington’s head coach/offensive coordinator, Steve Sarkisian, and defensive coordinator, Nick Holt, both once held those same positions at USC. The problem? They both held those positions last year! This one’s going to be a great chess match. Jake Locker’s healthy and playing well. USC doesn’t even know who will start at QB or whether Taylor Mays will play. I still USC pulls it out because they went to Ohio State and won. Though, I’ve used that logic before and it has failed miserably.
E: (#3 USC over Washington) I want Washington to win, but I just don't see that happening. It will be a close game though.

North Texas at #4 Alabama
J: (#4 Alabama over North Texas) Not much to say about this one. Saban’s not losing at home to North Texas. Period.
E: (#4 Alabama over North Texas) This wont be close. Defense should shut them out.
Temple at #5 Penn State
J: (#5 Penn State over Temple) Again, Joe Pa’s not losing to Temple at home. Period. By the way, I don’t think Penn State is a top-5 team.
E: (#5 Penn State over Temple) Jo Pa at home is a beast. I love Daryl Clark at QB. He should have a solid game.
Southeastern Louisana at #5 Miss State
J: (#5 Miss State over nobody) Mississippi State’s got this one. I’ve never even heard of Southeastern Louisiana. I guess I have to pay more attention to that east coast bias because I hear the SEC plays tough games week in and week out.
E: (#6 Miss St over Southeastern Louisana) Nothing much to say. Not even a game worth watching.
Florida State at #7 BYU
E: (#6 Miss St over Southeastern Louisana) Nothing much to say. Not even a game worth watching.
Florida State at #7 BYU
J: (Florida State over #7 BYU) I like the upset in this one. BYU has a great QB in Max Hall, but Florida State has something to prove, and I think they’ll relinquish this opportunity to play against a top-10 team.
E: (Florida State over #7 BYU) Max Hall is great, but Bowden will get another victory in this game.
E: (Florida State over #7 BYU) Max Hall is great, but Bowden will get another victory in this game.
#8 Cal at Minnesota
J: (#8 Cal over Minnesota) Cal’s a good football team. Whether they’re worthy of #8 is up to you. I don’t see it. They have arguably the best running back in the country in Jahvid Best. He’ll be successful against the Gophers. It won’t be a blowout, but I think Cal wins this one by at least 10 points.
E: (#8 Cal over Minnesota) Javid Best.
Louisiana-Lafayette at #9 LSU
J: (LSU over irrelevant) C’mon now. Do you really expect me to analyze this? Ridiculous teams SEC teams face week in and week out.
E: (#9 LSU over WHO CARES?) This is another game not worth watching.
#11 Ohio State at Toledo
E: (#9 LSU over WHO CARES?) This is another game not worth watching.
#11 Ohio State at Toledo
J: (Ohio State over Toledo) Ohio State is still reeling over that loss from USC last week. The only thing worse that could happen to Ohio State and the BIG 10 is if Ohio State doesn’t put up at least 50 on Toledo. They also have to hold Toledo to a TD or less. Ohio State will win big.
E: (Toledo over #11 Ohio State) I may be crazy for picking Toledo, but I think Ohio State will be really flat this week. They had a tough loss last week, and they probably don't care about the season anymore.
Tulsa at #12 Oklahoma
J: (#12 Oklahoma over Tulsa) This may be an upset-worthy game, especially if Oklahoma overlooks Tulsa, but I doubt this’ll occur. Oklahoma will win big at home.
E: (#12 Oklahoma over Tulsa) Should be a high scoring game. Oklahoma should win by at least 2 touch downs.
#19 Nebraska at #13 Virginia Tech
(#13 Virginia Tech over #19 Nebraska) This is one of the quieter match-ups of the top-25 and I think this will be a close game. I’m definitely not confident on my pick. I think either team has a good shot to win. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Huskers go into Blacksburg and pull out a victory, but Beamer is solid at home.
E: (#13 V-Tech over #19 Nebraska) Should be a great game this weekend. It will go right down to the wire. Both teams play great defense.
Texas State at #15 TCU
J: (#15 TCU over Texas State) Who cares? Horned Frogs take this one.
E: (#15 TCU over Texas State) Terrible game. Don't waste your time watching it.
Rice at #16 Oklahoma State
J: (#16 Oklahoma State over Rice) Rice is a terrible team, but so is Houston. Oklahoma State won’t repeat week-old history, at least not at home.
E: (#16 Oklahoma State over Rice) This will be a high scoring game. Just give Dez Bryant the ball and it'll be game over. Hopefully they don't disappoint me again this week.
#17 Cincinnati at Oregon State
J: (#17 Cincinnati over Oregon State) The Beavers barely beat UNLV on the road last week, but they play much better at home than away (trust me I have plenty of viewing experience of this). Cincy did put up 70 last week, but Oregon State has the Rodgers bros who will be tough at home, especially motivated by falling out of the top-25 due to an embarrassing performance at UNLV. This is a tough pick. Could go either way. Bearcats over the Beavers.
E: (Toledo over #11 Ohio State) I may be crazy for picking Toledo, but I think Ohio State will be really flat this week. They had a tough loss last week, and they probably don't care about the season anymore.

E: (Oregon State over #17 Cincinnati) I love those Rodgers brothers and they will pull out an upset in this one.
#18 Utah at Oregon
J: (#18 Utah over Oregon) Poor Chip Kelly. This season has not started well for the first-year Oregon head coach. They lost to Boise in week 1 and barely beat Purdue at home last week. Now they have Utah? I think the Utes will pull this on out, though it will be a close game. I think they’ll be more fresh and motivated than Oregon will. Ducks lose this one in a close one.
E: (Oregon over #18 Utah) Oregon is still great without Blount. I say they win it in a close one.
Duke at #22 Kansas
J: (#22 Kansas over Duke) Kansas at home facing Duke? This one won’t be close.
E: (#22 Kansas over Duke) Now if this was college basketball it would be a great game. Duke doesn't have a chance.
#23 Georgia at Arkansas
J: (#23 Georgia over Arkansas) I’m not sure why I feel this might be an upset, but I can’t call that. I think the dogs will play a tough game and pull out a win in Arkansas.
E: (#23 Georgia over Arkansas) Arkansas will hang around in this game, but the Dogs defense will win them the game.
East Carolina at #24 North Carolina
J: (#24 North Carolina over East Carolina) With the departure of Tyler Hansbrough and Ty Lawson… UNC takes this at home.
E: (East Carolina over #24 North Carolina) Watch out for East Carolina, they could pull off an upset in this one.
Eastern Michigan at #25 Michigan
J: (#25 Michigan over Eastern Michigan) True freshman Tate Forcier has a game against a winless Eastern Michigan.
E: (#25 Michigan over Eastern Michigan) Tate Forcier will take control and get a victory.
