Panthers @ Falcons
Jon: (Falcons over Panthers) This will be a close one. Delhomme won’t make as many mistakes, but Turner and Gonzalez will prove to be too much for the Panthers D. Falcons win it 24-20.
Eric: (Falcons over Panthers) My Falcons against the Panthers, who I cant stand. These games are usually close, and the home team usually wins. I do think Delhomme and Smith will bounce back. Falcons win 24-17.
dRÜ: (Falcons over Panthers) Delhomme continues to struggle as Michael Turner will run all over the Panthers D. Falcons take it 27-17.
Kyle: (Falcons over Carolina) QB situation in Carolina isn't looking great considering Jake Delhomme is prone for throwing at least 2 picks. I like Matt Ryan and Michael Turner in this one with the air assault. Falcons win 33-14.
Vikings @ Lions
J: (Vikings over Lions) Detroit still doesn’t have enough to beat the Vikes, even at home. Vikings take this one 35-10.
E: (Vikings over Lions) AP: he cant be stopped man, come one now. Vikes win 35-24.
D: (Vikings over Lions) Detroits losing streak goes to 19. AP=All day, everyday. Vikings would win this game even with John David Booty at QB. Vikings win 31-14.
K: (Vikings over Lions) 2 words... ADRIAN PETERSON. 24-3 with Minn.'s great defense stopping Matthew Stafford.
Bengals @ Packers
J: (Packers over Bengals) The Bengals will stay in this one, but the Packers will use their home field advantage in this one. Chad Ochocinco will find the end zone though and attempt his Lambeau Leap. Packers win it 27-21.
E: (Packers over Bengals) Ocho is my boy, and I think their offense will bounce back. They are to inconsistent, and Rodgers at home should have a field day. Packs win 31-24
D: (Packers over Bengals) Bengals blow another lead late. Aaron Rodgers passes for 400+ and 4 TD’s. Bengals take it 34-24.
K: (Packers over Bengals) Even though Cincy lost a heart breaker last week, I think this will be another one of those games. Its going to be a close game definitely with Green Bay winning a nail biter 17-14.
Texans @ Titans
J: (Titans over Texans) The Titans defense is too stingy and they’ll succeed in shutting down Andre Johnson. Titans win 21-10.
E: (Titans over Texans) Texans looked terrible last week and should bounce back. However,Titans Defense is to solid, and they should run all over Houston. Titans win 21-17
D: (Texans over Titans) Andre Johnson tears it up in a low scoring, ugly battle of defenses all day. Texans win it 24-10.
K: (Texans over Titans) Houston being the underdog here... I like the Texans in this close game of hard nose football. Andre Johnson destroys this defense with a score of 21-17.
Raiders @ Chiefs
J: (Raiders over Chiefs) Raiders will be hungry after feeling they let one slip away in week one. Russell and McFadden will score with ease. Raiders win 31-7.
E: (Chiefs over Raiders) Raiders let me down last week. I don't want to pick them again for a while. KC wins 24-21
D: (Raiders over Chiefs) McFadden and Bush run all over KC. Without Matt Cassell, KC falls to 0-2. Raiders beat the Chiefs 24-14.
K: (Oakland over Kansas City) 2 trash teams collide in this terrible matchup. I like Oakland considering they should have beat the chargers. 17-7
Patriots @ Jets
J: (Jets over Patriots) The Jets will use their week 1 win momentum into this one. They’ve been looking forward to this game and I think they’ll capitalize against a depleted Patriot defense that will struggle even more without Jerod Mayo. Jets win it 27-20.
E: (Pats over Jets) This game could go either way, but Brady should come out with a victory. Sanchez has not proved me anything yet. Pats win 17-14
D: (Patriots over Jets) Patriots barely escaped in week 1 with a stunning comeback against the Bills. They’ll ride that momentum into week 2 as Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and Ben Watson all the find the end zone in this one. Pats win 31-21.
K: (Pats over Jets) Lets see if Mark Sanchez can step up in his first home game against Tom Brady. Sanchez should be productive in this game, but the Patriots will prevail in this one 28-17.
Saints @ Eagles
J: (Saints over Eagles) I’m only picking the Saints because, as of right now, Kolb is starting. Saints win big 42-14.
E: (Eagles over Saints) Saints offense is great, and this should be a huge scoring game. I like Eagles defense, and play makers to win them the game. Eagles win 28-24
D: (Saints over Eagles) Drew Brees continues his hot start, reaching 10 total TD’s by Week 2, as the Saints make the Eagles regret they didn’t start Jeff Garcia. Saints take it 37-24.
K: (Saints over Eagles) Considering that Kevin Kolb is Quarterbacking this game.... Drew Brees wont throw 6 touchdowns, but will throw at least 3 in this high scoring game. Saints win big 33-17.
Redskins @ Rams
J: (Redskins over Rams) Rams are terrible. Skins take it 24-3.
E: (Redskins over Rams) CP, my boy, will dominate. Skins win 24-14
D: (Redskins over Rams) Rams are the worst team in pro football. Santana Moss will actually have a little bit of production this week. Redskins win 24-17.
K: (Redskins over Rams) St. Louis really has no chance in this one. Washington wins 28-7
Cardinals @ Jaguars
J: (Cardinals over Jaguars) The Cards bounce back after a week 1 loss to beat a crappy Jaguars team 35-7.
E: (Jags over Cardinals) All Cardinals have is Fitz and Breaston. Boldin most likely wont play. Their defense is shaky and they still haven't established a run game. Jags win 24-17.
D: (Jaguars over Cardinals) The defending NFC champs will fall to 0-2 to start off a disappointing season. Jags take it 21-17.
K: (Cardinals over Jags) Cardinals take this one with an aerial assault 28-10.
Seahawks @ 49ers
J: (49ers over Seahawks) This is a tough pick for sure. I’m not confident in my pick, but I think the 49ers ride their week 1 momentum to beat the Seahawks. 49ers beat the Seahawks 20-17.
E: (49ers over Seahawks) I like Shaun Hill, he's a good QB. The SF defense is awesome and athletic. 49ers win 17-10.
D: (Seahawks over 49ers) (TOUGHEST DECISION OF THE WEEK) Despite their thrilling win over the Cards in week 1, I don’t think the 49ers will pull it out in this one. Seahawks go to 2-0 with a 20-14 victory.
K: (Seahawks over 49ers) Crabtree please sign man.... I like Matt Hasselback, and the Seahawks in this close game 17-14.
Buccaneers @ Bills
J: (Bills over Buccaneers) Bills are angry with themselves after blowing it on the road against the Pats. They’ll take their anger out on the Bucs as T.O. scores twice. Bills win big 31-10.
E: (Bills over Bucs) My boy T.O. will have a huge second week. He wants that ball, and he will get it this week. Bills win 24-10
D: (Bills over Buccaneers) This time around, the Bills will not blow a lead in the 4th and they will easily beat Tampa Bay. Still no TD for T.O. though. Bills win it 28-13.
K: (Bills over Buccaneers) Get your Popcorn ready cause "The Player" (T.O.) is going to destroy that Buc's secondary with a Buffalo win. 21-10 Buffalo.
Steelers @ Bears
J: (Steelers over Bears) Jay Cutler will struggle because they’ll be playing from behind. The Steelers will dominate offensively due to the Bears loss of LB Brian Urlacher. Steelers win it big 35-7.
E: (Steelers over Bears) This one will be close, and I think Cutler will bounce back. Big Ben is to money though in close games. Steelers win 28-21
D: (Steelers over Bears) It doesn’t get any easier for the Bears and Jay Cutler in week 2. Having to face the Steelers D won’t be easy as the Steelers prevail in this one 27-17.
K: (Steelers over Bears) Defending champs go into the Urlacher-LESS Chi-town, and sadly my boy Cutler doesnt have a great night vs. that Steel Curtain. Pitt wins 24-14.
Ravens @ Chargers
J: (Ravens over Chargers) This is another tough pick, but I think the Chargers escaped in week 1, and they’ll be exposed this week. Ravens win it 17-13.
E: (Ravens over Chargers) I think this game could get out of hand. No LT and three O-lineman out for the Chargers. Ravens win 28-10
D: (Ravens over Chargers) In a surprisingly high scoring game, defense will prevail late, as the Ravens will spoil the Chargers home opener. Ravens win a close one 31-27.
K: (Ravens over Chargers) The Chargers are gonna hurt in this one considering they are playing without LT. The running attack with Rice and McGahee is gonna tire out the Chargers D in Ravens win. 21-10.
Browns @ Broncos
J: (Broncos over Browns) The Broncos will move to 2-0 and become overrated once again. Denver takes their home opener 24-17.
E: (Browns over Broncos) B Edwards, and Quinn should connect a couple times. I think Jamal Lewis will run all over Denver. Browns win 17-14
D: (Browns over Broncos) The Myoplex proclaimed “Hardest Working Man in Football,” Brady Quinn, gets his first win as a starter. Browns beat the Broncos 24-9.
K: (Broncos over Browns) MY BRONCOS are going to take this one. Brady Quinn is gonna struggle even though the Broncos defense is trash. Broncos win 17-10
Giants @ Cowboys
J: (Cowboys over Giants) I think the Giants are more talented than the Cowboys, especially on defense, but the Cowboys will be excited to play in their new stadium and stun the Giants 31-24.
E: (Giants over Cowboys) Cowboys will be fired up at home, but the Giants D-line and O-line are much stronger then Dallas. B. Jacobs should run all over them. Giants win 24-21.
D: (Giants over Cowboys) Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw out duel Marion Barber and Felix Jones on the ground. A final drive by Eli Manning is the difference in this one as the Giants win it late 30-24.
K: (Cowboys over Giants) Great match up right here. Hopefully this is a high scoring game because I got Romo on my fantasy team :D. I like Dallas and their HUGE SCOREBOARD in this one though 21-17.
Monday Night Football
Colts @ Dolphins
J: (Colts over Dolphins) The addition of Hank Baskett won’t make too much of a difference in this one, but the Colts will do just enough to win it and spoil the Dolphins home opener 14-10.
E: (Dolphins over Colts) This is a huge game for the Dolphins. They dont want to start of 0-2. Ronnie Brown should take over, and Pennington hooks up with Ginn. Dolphins win 21-17
D: (Colts over Dolphins) With Gonzalez out, Reggie Wayne takes it upon himself to carry the Colts in week 2. Chad Pennington will struggle mightily in the Dolphins home opener. Colts beat the Dolphins 23-14.
K: (Colts over Dolphins) MONDAY NIGHT in Miami baby! Should be a great game, but the Wildcat doesn't upset the cult. Peyton Manning and the Colts take this 21-14

What a second week in the NFL. Week 3 promises to be even that much more exciting. My team (49ers)have looked good against the defending NFC Champs at their house, (albeit against an injured Boldin and Breaston) and against Seattle (Frank Gore made the Hawks look silly yesterday) albeit without Hassleback in the second half, because he ran into a wall (Patrick Willis kills people for joy.) But with that said Singletary has this team believing they can win, and the defense looks the best it's been since 90's. Yeah the 90's when the niners had that Young and Rice guy. But with that we have a real test next week against a Vikings team that looks to be one of the NFC's best, albeit they beat the Browns and Lions, but I still think we're going to be hard pressed to go to Minnesota and win. But then again the Vikings have their first real test this year too against...the 49ers?!! Thats right I said it the Vikings, and Favre's first challenge will be against a stingy 49ers defense, and what do you get when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Adrian Peterson Vs. Patrick Willis. In the past if our coach was NoWin I'd say we would get blown out. But with Sing I think we have a fighting chance. Whichever team wins this game will be well on their way to the playoffs, and can be called one of the best teams in the NFC. What the San Francisco 49ers one of the best in the NFC? If they win this game, they have 2 home games against the Rams, and Falcons and have a fighting shot at being 5-0 or 4-1 before the bye. I haven't seen a number like 4-1 next to the Niners since T.O. left. Still I think we fall short 20-17, I don't know if Hill has the arm to put up the points we need to win this game, seeing as Minnesota are all but sure to load 9 men in the Box to stop Gore. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.
And on a different topic, how about the 49ers accusations of the Jets tampering with Crabgreed? If this is true I have to believe that Craptree has lost all leverage, since there is no way that the Jets can draft him next year, and that leaves Crabtree with no certainty that he will get more money in next years draft (which I believe he's crazy if he thinks he'll be drafted higher with guys like Dez Bryant, and Braford coming out.) What do you guys think about the Minnesota game and the idiocracy of the Crabass situation?
