Juan Martin del Potro has defeated Roger Federer in 5 sets to take win his first major championship.
The 20 year old stuck it out and used his enormous fore-hand to win the match. Congratulations to Del Potro and early happy birthday. I'm bummed. Feds was 2 points away from the championship in the 4th.

Juan Martin - i havent done the research...kinda tough to do so with Tennis... but now many guys have beaten both Nadal and Federer in the same tournament? Has that ever happend? Quite impressive to fight off those match points too!
