Y.E. Who?

"Y.E. Yang has won the PGA Championship." Like I mentioned yesterday, Tiger entered Sunday with the history, the history of never losing while entering Sunday in a major with at least a share of the lead. All of that history is now gone as Y.E. Yang celebrates his first major win against the crazily favored Tiger Woods. Y.E. was only mentioned in my article yesterday because he was tied with Padraig Harrington, 6-under. Tiger Woods was asked recently whether an Asian-born player would win a major anytime in the near future. Tiger proclaimed that it was definitely possible. Amazing shot after another, including a fist-pump worthy eagle on the 15th, Y.E. Yang became a name in the history books by beating Tiger Woods and becoming the first Asian-born player to win a major championship. Congratulations to Y.E. on rewriting golf history with an incredible story. As for Tiger, he will continue his run to be the greatest ever. He will win a major next year.
